In this role, you'll be a critical part of our operations to keep our short term rental business humming. We're looking for reliable, hands-on person who can support our property management team to ensure our properties are looking their best and ready for the next guest.

The Role

  • The Operations Assistant is a role for people with a hands-on attitude and an eye for detail.
  • Main duties involve managing teams of housekeepers, responsible for cleaning quality control, stocking linen and managing stocktake in our warehouse.
  • Assisting with office administration, training and managing in-field cleaning operations.
  • Review and administer cleaning schedules and quality control inspections.
  • Support property management, sales and marketing activities, where required.
  • Includes use of company vehicle during working hours. 

A little about you

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be a confident driver (GPS assisted).
  • Be legally able and available to work in Australia for a minimum of 6 months (20-30 hours/week).
  • Have a high level of professional pride, a hands-on attitude and a keen eye for detail.
  • Be self-motivated, physically fit, reliable, well presented and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions, independently problem solve and self-manage as well as delegate activities (good communication skills and people skills).
  • Consistent positive/proactive attitude and excellent work ethic.
  • Be reliable and flexible (be able and willing to work on weekends/public holidays).
  • Be fluent in English (written and spoken) and have basic computer skills.
  • Previous hospitality experience (at least six months) ideal.
  • Live within an easy travelling distance to Northern Beaches or Lower North Shore. (accommodation is not supplied, sorry!)
  • Commitment to work during the summer season, including weekends and public holidays.
