Job Description

We are Australia's most established staging company, creating spectacular installations that inspire event-goers around the nation! We are seeking an Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is a unique blend of events staging and warehousing responsibilities, offering a diverse and engaging work experience. As an Operations Specialist, you will partake in:
1. Technical Assistance: Assist in the setup, maintenance, and dismantling of event staging and set construction equipment under the guidance of senior staff.
2. Warehousing: Play a key role in our warehousing operations, including accurately picking and scanning all outgoing jobs, ensuring all items are correctly accounted for, and all documentation is complete and accurate.
3. Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of quality and safety, participating in regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues.
4. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all stage equipment to a high standard, undertake quality checks, and assist with loading/unloading vehicles.
5. Customer Liaison: Liaise with internal departments and customers, delivering a professional service in all situations.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a customer service role
• The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A valid driver's license. A Medium Rigid (MR) license will be advantageous.
• A valid forklift license is preferred.
• Knowledge of barcode scanners and the Microsoft suite.
• Experience using an array of hand and power tools is preferred, but training will be provided.
• Physically fit to meet the demands of the job
