Your new companyOur client is a highly reputable commercial Tier 2 builder who has worked across Australia to deliver numerous key projects for the past 35 years. Due to a number of project wins, they are currently looking to onboard a WSHE Manager to assist them on a large scale commercial project in Sydney’s North West area for 6 months minimum.
Your New Role
Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced WHSE Manager to join their team. As the WHSE Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to promote a culture of safety within the organisation. Your key responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, managing incident investigations, and providing training and support to staff on WHSE matters.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
* Extensive experience in WHSE management, preferably within a similar industry.
* In-depth knowledge of WHSE regulations and best practices.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
* Proven ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective corrective actions.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in workplace health, safety, and environment.
