We are recent widower and teenage son seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and professional live-in housekeeper to assist with maintaining a clean, organised, and comfortable household for a family of two. This is a temporary position that requires the candidate to reside in the home for the duration of the contract.

You will have access to a recently renovated, fully furnished, secure and lockable, private apartment within the home with great views of the water. The apartment includes a bedroom, separate lounge with kitchenette, and a bathroom with a shower. Air conditioning and heating in all rooms, as well as wi-fi provided.

Meals can be taken with the family and/or separately in your private apartment. We will provide your groceries for your apartment.

We’re located right on a bus line, but opportunities for occasional use of a vehicle.

The position requires approximately 16 hours per week that can be divided however is most convenient (e.g., 4 hours per day/4 days per week, 8 hours per day/2 days per week, etc.). If desired to work more than 16 hours per week, the opportunity for paid work is available at $30/hour.

The value in room and amenities is conservatively estimated at $500/week (local market value is $400-700).
